Dispute Resolution

In the case of disputes between lawyers and their clients, the possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution exists at the bar association responsible for the respective lawyer (pursuant to § 73 (2) no. 3, para. 5 BRAO) or at the Lawyers' Meditation Board (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft), (§ 191 f. BRAO). You may contact the Board via the website of the Federal Bar Association (http://www.brak.de), e-mail: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de.
The European Commission provides a platform for out-of-court dispute resolution, which can be found at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ (Article 14 (1) ODR Regulation).
GE Law does not participate in procedures for dispute resolution before a consumer conciliation board.
